Most Haitian children spend a majority of their time getting water for their families since the majority of Haitians do not have access to water. (Photo AP/Daniel Morel)

Vision Statement

Providing agricultural quantities of potable water to the Antilles would have profound effects.

  •    Save lives by Reducing Disease
  •    Rebuild Agricultural Industry and
  •    Establish Agricultural Support Businesses
  •    Encourage Port Development
  • The island with the greatest need has the most economical geographic potential.

”More than a billion people in the world’s poor rural areas do not have access to clean drinking water, and another billion people lack access to affordable small-plot irrigation.

Cold water could air condition port facilities at Cap St Nicholas, support aquaculture (as proven at NELHA - Keahole Point, Hawaii) and provide the land business base for establishing a commercial port there. The port is within a day’s sail of six countries. Non-farm employment would provide stability for a viable agricultural economy.
